After graduating from The University of Melbourne, Dr. Elaine Lee did a 2-year stint of work in a renowned dental practice in Kuala Lumpur before settling down in her hometown Kota Kinabalu. She then founded Dr. Elaine Lee Dental Surgery in 2004. Excelling in restorative dentistry and endodontics, she frequently attends local and overseas conferences and seminars to keep herself abreast of all the new dental technologies. She believes in using the latest treatment modalities to ensure her patients receive the best treatment available. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Lee’s love for cooking, fine wine, and travel adds depth to her vibrant life.

She acquired Certificate of Beethoven’s Damon Master Program in 2018 and Certificate of Comprehensive Orthodontics for Clinicians in 2022 respectively. Her dedication to this field reflects her commitment to identifying and addressing orthodontic issues at an early stage, often in young patients. Dr. Lu is an avid reader, finding solace and knowledge in the world of books. She also enjoys Netflix marathons and maintains a consistent yoga practice, nurturing both her intellectual and physical well-being.

Dr. Foo Qi Chao

Dr. Foo Qi Chao, a faculty member at the Royal College of Edinburgh since 2012, earned his Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) from the University of Malaya in 2020 on a Federal Scholarship. With a strong academic background, he has published numerous scientific papers and co-authored the Oral and Craniomaxillofacial Reconstruction Chapter. Fun fact, Dr. Foo is a former member of British Army! His extensive solo cycling expeditions around the world stand as a testament to his adventurous nature and deep passion for exploration.

Dr. Phebe Ting

Joining the team in 2015, Dr. Phebe Ting is well-versed in various general dental procedures and is especially enthusiastic in orthodontics. She obtained her Certificate of Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) in 2018 and became a Certified Invisalign Provider in 2022. She also completed an Interceptive Orthodontic Masterclass in 2023. Outside the world of braces and aligners, she finds joy in her creative pursuits of sewing, crafting, and baking. Dr. Ting’s orthodontics practice reflects her meticulous attention to detail, which she carries over to her crafting endeavors, producing intricate and exquisite pieces.

Dr. Lee’s dedication to personal growth is evident by her enthusiastic involvement in Toastmasters, culminating with her presidency at the Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club in 2021-2022.
